To all people who would like to be able to choose their lockers before anyone else. August 4th from 9 to 12 there is a registration packet-filling-party-thing, if you'll remember the packets you got in the mail for registration (they came way before school started) that's what you'll be doing at this packet-filling-thing: stuffing all of those papers into the packets. It's not hard work at all, and the more people you get to come the faster it goes. Know this, if you come, you are automatically given the chance to pick your locker weeks before anyone else(regardless of whether you're underclassmen or not), and they will feed you pizza too.

I sit, I be bored.

Ironically I sit and I think about how half of my "friends" don't even know me anymore. Summer seems to be one of those "tests of true-friendship", that whole trial by time deal. I should also like to mention how frightful a thing it is to realize just how much attention I pour into the wrong people. I exhaust myself showing attentions and affections to certain people that show absolutely no gratitude, and no regret in shirking me. I regret to say that I have been slacking off on the people I should be hanging out with, that I like to hang out with, and that seem to like hanging out with me (rather than those who make no effort to converse with me in groups, or those who never return my calls). I find myself waging one-sided conversations with people I wish I wouldn't, it's really sad how few people actually like a good conversation online. No one sparks one, so I never get the oppurtunity to engage them, and somehow I've lost the desire to start them myself, as half of the time I am sure the other person isn't paying attention, and the other half, I am sure the other person would not make much of the conversation. I really do enjoy a good conversation, I don't mind a "jumpy" one, so long as we're both talking about the same thing, and even more so, so long as we're both actually conversing instead of "mm-hm, yeah, yep, oh sure, yeah i know"-ing.

I also have to say that although it is quite fun to be entertained, and to do some entertaining, I feel that to be in someones company alone should be entertainment enough. I don't need to be entertained all the time, I don't mind just sitting and hanging out, or talking, or listening to music with people. And I must say it bothers me to be required to entertain company continuously, if I am quite so boring that one cannot just enjoy my company as it is, then I'm not worth much to you as a person. I love to be entertained, and I love to entertain, but to need to do so for every moment that I am being with a friend is less like hanging out with a friend, and more entertaining a guest, it is also quite exhaustive as well.

Anyways.

mmmm...you said to stop thinking about, and you say it creates a dependency and all that stuff. You also seem to think i'm addicted, and it seems to me that after writing a few counter points to that and subsequently erasing them...that you are right. wow...i'm really in the mood to stop writing now...

I'm the kind of guy who loves to do the cuddly bit. Wrapping my arms around my girlfriend is the thing i most love to do. When I develop a close relationship with a girl(not as in bf/gf relationship; friendship) and she's the type to enjoy cuddling, it seems only natural to lie across eachother while talking, or watching a movie, or whatever. There's nothing more pleasurable to me than being close to my good friends. To put it in the most degredational terms possible: If I the choice between a lifetime sex-toy-girl and a lifetime close friend who enjoys snuggling with me, i'd choose the close friend by so far a longshot that it's not even funny.

So yes, you are correct, I am very attached to the human touch, and as you say, it gets old. I'm sick of it now that I really examine it. Damn it. Damn the shit to hell. I hate that I love it so much.

yay ^^, we're cruisin' here, life is good, and maybe it'll stay good. I had a wonderful night of Jiu Jitsu: not too fast paced, started out easy, got to the harder stuff, wore me out without breaking me entirely. It was just what I needed. Tomorrow morning is Tap 1 I hear, therefore I shall be in early doing absolutely nothing, maybe a bit of homework. And life's alright.
